Mark Verstegen is revered as the leader in athletic performance training. Professional athletes form various sports have experienced the tremendous benefit of Verstegen’s unique concepts in athletic performance.

Verstegen began his coaching career at his alma mater, Washington State University. From there he became Assistant Director of Player Development at Georgia Tech, implementing the most innovative and successful performance programs in the school’s history. As the founding Director of the International Performance Institute (IPI) in Bradenton, Florida, Verstegen created one of the world’s most successful performance training, reconditioning, and educational facilities. To fulfill his vision, Verstegen relocated to Tempe, Arizona, in 1999 to create Athletes’ Performance, an independent, purpose-built facility solely dedicated to helping athletes achieve their goals. His innovation and passion for his field has elevated Athletes’ Performance to an even higher level of excellence.

Verstegen’s work is evident throughout the industry. His success stories include WTA Grand Slam Champions, AL and NL MLB Rookies of the Year, MLB MVP Runner-up, MLB Batting Champions, WTA Comeback Player of the Year, and NBA All-Stars.
